Abstract / Excerpt:

This project is a study of the feasibility of having a second hand bookshop near AdDU. The proposed business will be in the industry of buying and selling of used books. The group found out that 95% of the students surveyed are willing to buy second hand books if a second hand will exist. Most of their reasons were on the price of the new textbooks they need to buy are really making their parents complain and doubt them. "Why buy a book for 500 pesos or more on bookstores like Alemars and other bookstores if I can buy it in a store that sells it less the price", one student told the group. The group found out that the demand for books is great, but they had the problem on were to get the supply of books to catch up with the demand.
